Out of Controll in Venice contains the soundtrack to Egill Sæbjörnsson's Icelandic Pavilion contribution to the 57th Biennale Art in Venice 2017. Together with a book, an extensive installation (on view until end November 2017), social media videos, clothing line, perfume, nail polish, coffee cups and other merchandise, the album forms a Universe of two imaginary friends of Egill, the 36 meter tall trolls Ugh & Boogar. No one knows how old they are or where they come from, all we know is that they used to live in a cave and eat badly behaving children on Christmas. One day they got to know Egill and instead of eating him, they became his friends and eventually started making art. That lead them to take over the task of presenting Iceland at the Biennale Arte in Venice 2017. Some songs are acoustic and some songs have vocals. We can hear both the trolls Ugh and Boogar and Egill Sæbjörnsson, play instruments and sing and talk on the album. One song, Falling stuff, was created in collaboration with artist Paul Affeldo (Puppetmastaz).
